ABOUT GAMMA CHARGE
Building the Future of Transportation
Gamma Charge is leading the development of one of the largest electric vehicle charging infrastructure initiatives in South Carolina. We don't just install chargers — we build intelligent, revenue-generating networks that transform properties into EV destinations.

A Note from the Founder
This started with family land.
30 Freeman Farm Rd is family land. When I-85 Exit 60 was designated a federal Alternative Fuel Corridor and NEVI funding became available, it was obvious what this ground should become — the largest public DCFC hub on I-85 in the Southeast.
What wasn't obvious was how hard it would be to actually build it. Utility timelines, Tesla coordination, heavy-duty fleet requirements, NEVI compliance, retail outparcel economics — every piece had to fit together. We partnered with Renovo Energy Solutions as development partner and project coordinator. We brought in Matrix Technologies as engineer of record. Tesla handles the V4 Supercharger side; Espen covers the non-Tesla CCS1 + NACS dispensers; Duke Energy brought the 2.5 MW service. The plans went IFC on March 9, 2026.
The Duncan hub is a prototype. What's designed here — light, medium, and heavy-duty EVs at the Atlanta–Charlotte midpoint, with a retail outparcel anchoring the dwell-time economics — is meant to be repeated at the next NEVI-eligible exit on I-85, I-26, and I-95. That's the point of building it this way. Corridor-scale infrastructure you can actually replicate.
If you're an agency evaluating NEVI deployments, a tenant looking at the outparcel, or a fleet operator who needs heavy-duty charging on I-85 — this site is built for you.

Our Mission
To accelerate the transition to electric transportation by building the most reliable, accessible, and intelligently designed charging network in South Carolina — making EV ownership effortless for every driver while creating lasting value for communities and property partners.
Our Vision
A future where every South Carolinian is within 15 minutes of a fast, reliable charging hub — where EV infrastructure isn't an afterthought but a cornerstone of modern community development, economic growth, and sustainable transportation.
WHAT WE DO
We're Not Another Charger Company
The EV charging industry is full of companies that install hardware and walk away. We do things differently.
Build Networks
Not Chargers
We design interconnected charging ecosystems with intelligent placement, not isolated stations. Every hub is part of a larger, data-driven network strategy.
Control Revenue
Not Installers
Property partners own the revenue opportunity. We provide turnkey management — you keep the upside without the operational complexity.
Create Destinations
Not Stops
Our charging hubs feature amenities, retail, and services that make the charging experience something drivers look forward to — not endure.

OUR FOCUS
Why South Carolina
South Carolina sits at the intersection of rapid EV adoption and critical infrastructure need — making it the ideal launchpad.
54% year-over-year EV registration growth — one of the fastest in the Southeast
Critical infrastructure gap with only 1 public charger per 30 EVs on the road
Major interstate corridors (I-85, I-26, I-95) carrying millions of vehicles annually
$7.5B in federal NEVI funding plus South Carolina state incentives creating a historic investment window

OUR VALUES
What Drives Us
Innovation
Pushing the boundaries of what EV infrastructure can be — from intelligent placement algorithms to destination-first hub design.
Reliability
We design and monitor to the NEVI 97% uptime standard. Real-time monitoring and maintenance systems ensure chargers work when drivers need them.
Sustainability
Every hub we build reduces carbon emissions and supports the transition to clean energy. We integrate renewable sources wherever possible.
Community
We build for the communities we serve — creating local jobs, supporting businesses, and making EV access equitable across all neighborhoods.
